#548 - Iresine Lindenii (Linden's Bloodleaf)

I've often said that color from foliage is usually more dependable than color from flowers during the hottest months of summer. No matter how hot it gets, there's no let down of color when you add Linden's Bloodleaf to your flower beds and containers. This plant's leaf color is what I would describe as a shimmering dark red-purple. It offers a different look compared to other Iresines. This one is more upright in its branching structure with longer and narrower leaves. Its compact and dense habit along with its dark foliage makes a great contrast with lighter colored foliage and flowering plants.
