Plant Description

Since the late 1990's, Ornamental Sweet Potatoes have been popular and dependable bedding and container plants for gardeners in this area. Several new selections with various leaf shapes and slight color differences have come along in the last decade, but nothing truly different, until now. Kelly Ray is a wonderful new selection made by Oklahoma nurseryman Kelly Marcum that has a stunning variegation pattern of purple, splashed with green. Like the other Ornamental Sweet Potatoes, it is highly tolerant of extreme heat.
