#511 - Belamcanda chinensis (Blackberry Lily)
Plant Description
Related to Iris and just as tough, Blackberry Lily has graced my parent's garden in eastern Oklahoma for decades. Its show and interesting orange flowers are followed in fall by little clusters of black shiny fruit that look just like a blackberry at the end of the stem. This perennial is not to be confused with the Droid Lily or I-Phone Lily.
