How to Order: At this time there are three ways to order our plants. You may fill out and mail the order form with payment to us. You can fax us the order form with payment to 405-707-8697. Another option is to call us at 405-372-3379, Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please have your credit card information and your list of plant catalog numbers ready. Paying for your order: We gladly accept personal checks, money orders, Mastercard, Visa and Discover. Your credit card is charged on the day your order is placed (due to the fact that your plants are purchased that day, then held and cared for until they are shipped). Payment must accompany your order. Make checks payable to Bustani Plant Farm. NO CASH ACCEPTED FOR MAILORDER Minimum Order: There is a minimum plant order of $24, before shipping. For Oklahoma Customers: Sales Tax: We collect sales tax for shipments to OK. For orders by mail, please include the correct sales tax for your area when filling out the order form. Remember that shipping and handling charges are subject to sales tax. For telephone orders, we will gladly calculate the correct sales tax for your order. Prices effective: for orders received through June 13th. Subject to stock on hand. Substitutions: Please list acceptable substitutes on your order or indicate if you would prefer a refund. Please understand that we will sell out of some plants. Other factors beyond our control may cause certain plants to be unavailable as well. If you do not list substitutes we will refund your balance plus shipping. Shipping Dates: Because several of our plants are frost tender, we will not ship orders until late April. Our spring shipping period continues through June 17, so we will stop taking orders on June 13 at 5pm. States that we do not ship to: At this time we are unable to ship to the states of: AK, HI, CA, AZ, WA, OR, FL, or anywhere outside the continental US. Shipping Information: We charge shipping per item rather than a percentage of the total. This makes it a little easier to calculate. Shipping charges reflect the fact that we are sending live growing plants in their pots and not small portions of plant crowns or bare roots. We do a careful job wrapping each individual plant, so they all travel well and arrive in great condition. Our shipping charges include FedEx charges, boxes and materials, and the labor to pack the plants. Shipping Charges: We ship FedEx Ground to most states which takes 1-3 days for your plants to arrive. The cost of shipping is $3.00 per plant or a minimum of $15.00. For example John Doe Gardener from Georgia orders six plants at $6 each. The cost of plants is $36 and the shipping would be 6x3=$18 for a total of $54. If he ordered 4 plants at $6 each, he would reach the $24 minimum plant order but pay $15 shipping for a total of $39. Non-Edible Plants: All of our plants are for ornamental use only and no plant parts should be used for culinary or medicinal purposes. Open Hours: April 19 through June 15 Saturday 9AM to 5PM, Sunday 1PM to 5PM (closed Mon-Fri) About our Plants: At this time Bustani Plant Farm is a small nursery and though we grow larger each year, many plants are in small quantities. Therefore, please note that certain plants have per-customer limits. We propagate and grow all the plants we offer right here at the nursery, either from cuttings or divisions of our stock plants or from seed that we collect, store and clean. We do purchase seed for a few offerings. The plants you receive from us are not dormant but living, green and growing specimens. Our plants have root systems with excellent survivability due to the root pruning containers in which they are grown. Many of our plants are grown in 24 oz, 3 9/16” pot bands, with several of the native seedlings available in smaller pot bands. We occasionally ship things in one-gallon pots and also have some one-gallon items for on-site sales. Native Plant Propagation: All of our plants are nursery propagated, not collected from the wild. We highly discourage digging of native plants unless it is a Native Plant Rescue, properly sanctioned by a Native Plant Organization. Our Display Gardens: We are constantly expanding our display gardens and welcome visitors to view them during our designated open sale dates. In the future we plan to feature annual theme gardens with different plant collections and arrangements. Fall 2008 Open Nursery and Garden Dates: September 6th, 7th , 13th and 14th will be our fall open Nursery and garden dates. This is an opportunity to see many of our Tropical plants in full splendor after a season of growth. On these dates we only offer winter hardy plants but not necessarily everything listed in our spring catalog. Guarantee Policy: We promise to ship plants that are healthy and in good condition. Please understand that the shipping process can be rough on plants, but even though a few leaves or stems may be damaged, most always the plant will recover once planted. Plants from our nursery have extremely strong root systems because of the root-pruning containers in which they are grown. In fact, two years ago, a customer told us how his plants from us were nibbled-off at the ground by rabbits yet resprouted and grew nicely. Customer satisfaction is one of our top priorities, so if you receive a damaged shipment or plants of questionable quality, contact us within 5 days at 405-372-3379 or email us at info@bustaniplantfarm.com. We will gladly correct any problems that are our fault, but we cannot be held liable for any amount greater than the purchase price of the plant(s) in question. Picking up your order here at the nursery: If you live in Oklahoma or nearby and would like to come to Stillwater and pick up your order, you may do so during any of our spring open nursery days/hours, (April 19-June 15, Sat and Sun Only). We must have your order and payment in advance, at least by the end of the day Tuesday before the weekend you intend to arrive. When Your Plants Arrive: Once you receive your plants, unpack them immediately (not several days later), water them to resettle the soil, unless they are very wet, then set them in a lightly shaded location to recover for a day or two, then plant them in your garden.
